At the peak of the popularity of Despacito, 19 tracks mainly in Spanish made it to the Billboard Top 100. In 2020, there will be 41 songs that fall into this category. In the wake of Justin Bieber's dual remix of Despacito (2017) popular artists soon began collaborating with reggaeton performers including Drake along with Bad Bunny on MIA (2018) as well as Madonna with Maluma on Medellin (2019).
